The company was established on 28th March 2000 in Qianjiang City, Hubei Province, as a private enterprise integrating science, industry and trade, which is dedicated to the research and development, production and operation of all kinds of disposable medical devices, and the products are exported to Europe, North America, Japan, South Korea, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and other nearly 20 countries and regions. Yu Zhengsheng, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and former Secretary of Hubei Provincial Party Committee, and Luo Qingquan, former Governor of Hubei Province, have come to visit Shengji Medical for many times, and have fully affirmed the development of Shengji Medical. The Director-General of the World Trade Organisation, Mr. Lamy, kindly received Chairman Pan Mingxue in Guangzhou, fully affirmed the quality of Shengji's products, and encouraged Shengji Medical to export more high-quality products to the European Union. Through more than ten years of hard work and motivation, Shengji Medical has developed from an unknown small enterprise to a national important production, research and development base, and has been honoured by the Qianjiang Municipal People's Government as a key taxpayer for consecutive years.
